Glass experience

The Glass Experience is a project that will be celebrated with a professional conference and temporary exhibitions.

An archaeological exhibition will be on display in the central gallery space, where we will collaborate with related institutions at home and abroad to showcase the rich and exceptional glassware from prehistoric times to the modern era. Other exhibition rooms will showcase industrial, artistic and contemporary glass products from our own collections as well as from other national and international museums. Novo mesto is famous for its exquisite, artistically crafted colorful glass strawberries from the Iron Age. The Experience of Glass project will involve several local and foreign museums and individual artists who process and produce glassware.
